I have re-installed before but it didn't work. In my case, there is a problem with anconda packages, i have updated my pip package and it staerted working.

I will try to work this out after experimenting with VS 2017 Python dev modules. that was the origin of my previous Anaconda3 4.4.0 and Python 3.6 installs, and maybe it is the reason why things aren't working as I expected. I am keeping it as description of my scenario, but I've now realized that a few weeks ago, I installed Visual Studio 2017 with Python Development modules, which, I came to find out, includes a version of Anaconda3.

In fact, the problem seems to have appeared suddenly in the previous version (the last time I used it before today was months ago and everything were fine) that was the reason I decided to update Anaconda today. My new Anaconda installation is in C:\Users\live\Anaconda3 (no space in the path) and it is not in the system's PATH variable, neither in mine.Īnaconda Navigator, Spyder and Jupyter Notebook all have system shortcuts, but none of them work (nothing happens) and none of them appears in the "Add and Remove Programs" system's Settings tab the only Anaconda related entry in that tab is "Python 3.6.3 (Anaconda3 5.0.1 64-bit)" (this was happening with the older version, too). Afterwards, I found out some older pure Python 3.6 installs that I also removed. The older Anaconda was installed for all users (C:\Program Files), but I installed the newer version just for my user. I've just installed Anaconda 3.5.0.1 64bit, after uninstalling Anaconda3 4.4.0. Sys.executable: /Users/ggp/anaconda3/bin/pythonĬonda location: /Users/ggp/anaconda3/lib/python3.Same happening here. Sys.version: 3.6.9 |Anaconda, Inc.| (default, Jul 30. Package cache : /Users/ggp/anaconda3/pkgsĮnvs directories : /Users/ggp/anaconda3/envs Populated config files : /Users/ggp/.condarcīase environment : /Users/ggp/anaconda3 (writable) To provide more context, here's what the " conda info -a" command produces : macbook-pro-80:~ ggp$ conda info -a If there's a solution that doesn't require re-installing(assuming that would even fix it), I would be a happy camper. I've tried debugging this issue but haven't gotten nowhere - I'm contemplating uninstalling and reinstalling but don't want to lose the libraries I've added over the years. bash: anaconda-navigator: command not found This is where it totally just disappeared and wasn't responding to "**anaconda-navigator"**command, and instead produced this : macbook-pro-80:~ ggp$ anaconda-navigator Thinking it was just minor issue, I decided to exit and restart my Anaconda navigator. The widget didn't even end up working well, of course - but then the issue came when I tried re-running all the cells in my notebook, which then resulted in a 505 error. It all started when I decided to execute : This is the first issue I've ever had with anaconda after > 3 years of using it.
