We will correct the camera clock settings later by matching a key photo to a spot on the track log. You can skip Camera Setup… – accept the current settings – and proceed to import more images and GPS track logs. This panel pops up automatically when you import photos that lack time zone information. The first 3 are found in the Load > Camera Setup… panel. There are 4 ways you can tell HoudahGeo about your camera clock settings. That is why HoudahGeo asks about camera clock settings when you import images. HoudahGeo needs to know the exact time a photo was taken. Most cameras also do not record time zone information: the photo coming out of the camera may say it was taken at 12 PM, but there is no telling if that is to be understood as 12 PM east coast or west coast – a 3-hour difference. While the GPS device gets accurate time information from satellites, your camera clock is probably not accurate. HoudahGeo figures out where you took a photo by matching the timestamp on the photo with the times in the GPS track log. It does so every few seconds and thus creates a breadcrumb trail of your travels. A GPS app or track logger records your current position and the current time. A track log is a record of where you have been. This bug has been fixed in 3.1.Automatic geocoding in HoudahGeo matches photos to a GPS track log. Type2Phone 3.1 had a bug that caused it to crash on launch.

Even when I quit the app, Bluetooth is disrupted, especially with my magic trackpad 2, until I turn off the trackpad and then back on. The current version of this app disrupts all of my Bluetooth connections when I switch away from it to a different app. Update: I am lowering my rating to just one star. It is severing the trackpad's connection because not only does the pointer not move, the haptic "click" is gone, too. When I switch away from the app on my iMac, the Bluetooth trackpad becomes unresponsive for up to 30 seconds unless I quit the app. Update: The latest version (3.1.2) has a bug. I wish all developers would respond that quickly. The developers submitted a fix within 4 days, and now it's working again. I use this app every day, and after upgrading to Mojave, I reported a bug that caused the app to stop working completely. Please note: If your Mac and iOS device had been previously paired, you first need to undo the pairing on both ends. Tap the name of your Mac to start the pairing procedure.
